The president obviously began to say “Great Negro League pitcher,” but then paused and shifted to saying “at the time, pitcher in the Negro Leagues,”
It might have been what you think he meant to say, but your own quote shows what he actually did say. Doesn’t it bother you, even a little bit, that the President routinely seems to have trouble articulating coherent sentences?
I have no problem with his using the word ‘negro’, which just means black in Spanish/Portuguese and used to be considered the polite way to refer who we are now supposed to call black or African Americans.
But if President Donald J. Trump had made such a statement, Nancy P would be ginning up another article of impeachment.

Negro is a member of an specific ethnic group. Caucasian is a member of a different specific ethnic group.
Don't allow the left to control your language. The Left ruined the word "gay" which did not ever mean sodomy. They want to set the language rules for you as a way of controlling you.

No, Joe Biden Did Not Refer to Satchel Paige as a ‘Negro’ During Veterans Day Speech But....
I've adopted the attitude of the great Negro, at the time, pitcher in the Negro Leagues, went on to become a great pitcher in the pros and Major League Baseball after Jackie Robinson.
If he was not referring to Satchel Paige then WHO was he talking about?

Satchel Paige is one of the greatest athletes in American history.
Joe Biden isn’t worthy to polish his cleats.

Too fricking late, dear leftist a-hole purveyors of lies (like PDJT telling people to “inject themselves with Clorox”, and thousands of similar falsehoods).

If Biden didn't say that Sachel Paige was a "great Negro," then President Trump didn't say that white supremacists were "very fine people" either.
The LAAP-dog media is asking us to disregard what Biden said at Arlington, but they are also asking us to believe what they said that President Trump said at Charlottesville.
We all know what we heard in both cases: Biden DID call Paige a "Negro" and President Trump did NOT call white supremacists "very fine people."

It was the Negro League, not the African-American League. The term African-American didn’t come into usage until years after the Negro League in baseball was abolished and its members were assimilated into Major League Baseball.

Maybe Biden called a Negro what Biden did/made at his audience with Pop Francis, but Biden calling Pope Francis a Negro is as made up story.
