My comment was intended to be a bit tongue-in-cheek. However, my experience of having lived in modern Russia and interacting with people who lived through the USSR days tells me that most of the “nostalgia” was related to things like this. There were aspects of Soviet life that people tend to look back on very fondly (obviously the lack of liberty is not one of them).
