So turn the Armenian people over to the Turkish and let’s see a reprise of the slaughter of the 1920’s.

With the exception of peaceful times during the Soviet and Mongol years Armenia has always been in turmoil.

The author is using post ww2 activity reconstruction as a model? Put him in a time machine. The boy is definitely unaware of jihadi mentality and OPEC. (Not present in ww2)
I would rather see Armenia ally with Georgia as there is some cultural overlap. The USA today is not the USA of 16 years ago.

Saved the world and screwed ourselves ever since the end of WWII.
Pretty unselfish, huh?

I was invited to Armenia once. On the drive from the airport we passed the large US Embassy. I was told part of was under the adjoining lake.
To: Kaslin

LOL. That's the demonstration organized by Soros and the US Embassy a week before the last war. Demonstrators allegedly wanted EU and NATO membership before Azerbaijan and Turkey (NATO member:) attacked them and the Russians had to give their blood for this?:) As a side note, the conflict took place outside Armenia's sovereign territory, Russia fulfilled its obligations and stopped the Turks. The author of the article is particularly intellectually dishonest.

Still, the United States allowed this to happen to a Christian nation whose people want to face west but remain trapped in Russia’s cold embrace. Shouldn't a 'Christian nation' heed what the bible teaches when it proclaims:
Psalm 20:7-8
"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They have bowed down and fallen; but we have risen and stand upright."

Except the South of Georgia has turned into a Turkish colony since 2008 and isn’t even looking like a Christian country anymore, where the Turkish own everything and the Georgians are downgraded to hookers in the Turkish-run brothels and menial labor.
But hey, there are 300 Russian troops in Osetia....That’s a real occupation and invasion:)
