Statute of Limitations is the “clock” from the crime being committed until a person is charged.
Speedy Trial is usually so riddled with loopholes that it doesn’t really count.

A mistrial order is a legal decision by the judge that can be more easily overturned by a quarter of appeals.

And you had the nerve to chide me the other day for not being a lawyer?

Henry M. Rosenberg and his loud mouth are welcome to assault an armed Kyle Rittenhouse just any old time.

I'd enjoy watching the video of Rosenberg being turned into a colander.

Yes, well, spell check screwed me.

But the point stands. A mistrial is a decision that is reviewed de novo by a court of appeals, which makes it easier to overturn. You cannot overturn a jury verdict of not guilty because that would violate double jeopardy. So, a not guilty verdict is always preferable to a mistrial -- even one granted with prejudice.

IMHO, not good.

Judges don’t like to grant “mistrials.”

Again, IMHO.

These defense attorneys are just piss poor lawyers. Look how they ignore their own client:

Jack Posobiec

Facebook and Twitter censored anyone from defending Kyle Rittenhouse and labeled him a mass murderer

His legal team wasn’t even allowed to crowdsource their defense fund
