Build them next to your home.
Now you’re picking a fight? How does that forward Millsian philosophy?
It doesn’t.
If ya aint gonna address the hypotheticals, ya got no right to bring up nonsense.
I am great with that!
Just no windmills, please.
Sounds like a plan.
And is the waste able to be stored next door too?
Lets make it a fast breeder and you can ship waste to us and we’ll return it as fuel.
No I want to store all nuclear waste and nuclear production for the country surrounding your home. You seem to be good with that. Just confirming.
I have a better idea, but me tax-free for life three sections of land in Central Texas that’s 640 acres each or one mile by one mile times three. In Central Texas above the granite batholith that has been in place for over a billion years. Then show up with a top drive still rig with at least 100,000 lbs of weight on bit.
I will happily drill down 3 kilometers into that solid granite as a PhD level geologist I’ll personally do the Ops Geo work. Then send every bit of nuclear waste in the USA packaged in stainless steel cladding over the zirconium fuel assemblies. I’ll drop them down the bottom two kilometers of hole pack it with bentonite mud and then drop in a kilometer of concrete on top sealing the waste for the next billion years under my free land. We will be drilling vertical holes in a grid pattern 100 meters apart over the whole three sections. For use of my land and time I will require a storage fee of $100,000 a month for at least 100 years. Passed on to my estate trust fund.
I’ll gladly build a giant mansion on top of all the waste holes and drill my water well right next to the house ground water is only 400 feet in this area. There is over a kilometer of solid granite, concrete, steel and bentonite between the waste and my home I’ll sleep like a baby while partying tax free with hookers and blow in my huge mansion. That’s how confident I would be in deep bore hole storage under my home.
