A Vermont college has temporarily canceled student gatherings and in-person classes after linking Halloween parties to a COVID-19 outbreak on campus.
St. Michael's College in Colchester has reported 77 positive cases in the past two weeks, after experiencing only a handful of cases previously in the semester, according to its COVID-19 dashboard.
“We were doing really well as a community up to the point where there were numerous Halloween parties where students were unmasked and in close contact,” Lorraine Sterritt, the college's president, said in a statement Sunday.

The crematoriums can be seen from space.
I didn’t read the ENTIRE article, but I’m assuming the PCR test was used to detect the so-called “cases”. The same PCR test that the CDC issued a Class One withdrawal for, effective 31 December 2021, because it can’t discern the difference between the common cold, Influenza A, Influenza B, or the dreaded almighty “Covid” virus. (Which, if my research and reading are correct, has never been conclusively isolated in the first place.)
So tired of this hippopotamus dung.
That’s what happens when everyone bobs for the same apple.
Well, no, that particular "community" aside, they haven't been doing too well in Vermont recently when it comes to deaths involving COVID. In August, September, and October of 2020 -- at which time no one in Vermont had been vaccinated -- the state incurred no (that is to say, 0) COVID deaths. Flash forward to today, where some 81.2% of the state's population age 12 and older is vaccinated, and we see this:
August 2021 -- 17 deaths involving COVID
September 2021 -- 44 deaths involving COVID
October 2021 -- 32 deaths involving COVID
That figure for October 2021 will almost certainly go up, since it typically takes a few weeks for all the data to be received from a given state by the National Center for Health Statistics, which compiles this information.
Winter's coming.
The outbreak caused the parties?
There have been zero published reports of people contracting Covid from those concerts. You know intuitively that the media would have gone crazy at the discovery of one case of Covid.
So somebody caught a cold? Mercy! That’s the best the PCR test could detect anyway...
There was an outbreak in September at my daughter’s university - the school is 96% vaccinated
She knew 10 girls who got Covid, all had to quarantine, etc...
ALL 10 were fully vaccinated.
Some didn’t even know they had Covid until tested, the rest had sniffles.
Its all a big farce.
384 deaths total, 300 were 70 plus , the most over 80, with co mobitiies,no deaths under 20 years of age.
It is all about how you interpret the numbers.,
How many of the 77 died?
Does anyone here remember any articles about superspreader Cinco de Mayos where there was a spike?
I don't.
