With regard to mainstream news, conservatives have by and large tuned out, even for the local news. As for my experience with masking, generally speaking, the more conservative the area, the fewer masks are worn. Fewer maskers in Plano than in Central Dallas. Fewer maskers, almost none, in Gainesville than in Plano. Mask requested or required signs are generally ignored. A 24 Hour Fitness gym in north Irving has a mask required sign, but compliance is under 20%.

Agree with your points. It’s just a strange dichotomy to see poll after poll favoring restrictions, yet virtually no one around my area seems to be living that way.
