Every poll swings widely depending on how the question is worded. I would hope that far fewer than 50% would approve of the mandate, no matter how it is worded.
70% of the public has been jabbed. That fraction is invested, and most of them probably think it fine to make others do what they did. "No big deal" sort of rationale, they don't think in terms of it being an infringement on personal liberty - it didn't interfere with THEIRS.
