I will not go so far as to say the administration is tone-deaf.

One of the few things that Biden did right. At least Europeans won’t have to freeze to death, even if Americans do.
The libs have been trying to shut down this pipeline since... well, forever.
It is protected by treaty, not a fake one, but a real one.
The libs love canada, and shutting down this pipeline in violation of a treaty with them would piss off the canadians.
My guess is alot of noise will be made, but the pipeline will remain open.
When the author says the left is doing this to stoke their egos, I think he is either too kind or doesn’t understand. There is a significant percentage of the left elite that want to kill off as many normal Americans as possible.
Beyond that, if the elite is as smart as they say, even if they are not motivated to simply kill us, they have to know that is the likely result of making heat unavailable in winter.
So there is really no moral difference between those two categories of elite, is there? One wants to kill us, the other knows that stoking their egos will kill usn and goes right on.
