Vice President Kamala Harris asked NASA if it could use its satellites to track trees “by race” in various neighborhoods as part of “environmental justice” during a recent display on climate change, leading many to ridicule the vice president online and even giving rise to a “Black Trees Matter” hashtag.

keep it up, Maudeen. Be our voice.
She is such an embarrassment. The entire Biden admin is a joke.
Ghetto thugs don’t do trees.
.
Hahahaha.
It’s what one values. City Trees are often killed by carving, accidents, and pollution.
If you choose to live in the middle of nowhere, don’t claim discrimination since there are less hospitals in remote areas.
.
‘...but they do have nice cars.’
And gold jewelry, and salon nails, and salon weaves. I can’t help it if blacks value the environment less than I do. Don’t blame us, blame yourselves.
I don’t support Harris and she could have expressed herself better; but be real folks, twisting a poorly worded question into a off the wall thought only gives conservatives a goofy image to others.
She may have used race instead of species but more likely was asking if there were less trees in areas that blacks live as compared to whites or other minorities. That is still trying to create division among us but it is not a totally non-intellectural question.
“The trees are all kept equal,
by hatchet, axe and saw.”
I recall a story about people planting trees in the black neighborhoods. They got chased out by the blacks. Not that they didn’t have anything against trees - but they were angry that none of the white progressives had asked them for their input or told them of their plans.
Trees are evil!
“where I live, we have better respect for our land.”
Uh oh, do I hear a dog whistle there? Is your white privilege showing. Those poor urban dwellers just haven’t had all the advantages you had to care for their land.
(just kidding, in case you didn’t know)
.
The Lorax spoke for the Trees, and he was canceled as being a Racist.
.
Count me as another “I checked the dateline to see if it was the Bee” entry. What Kammy is looking for is yet another instance of Systemic White Privilege (c) as evidenced in our arboreal buddies. These are important stories to tuck away for our successors to laugh at and as evidence of why this particular time was so screwed up as to elevate this hateful moron to the second highest office in the land. If our heirs didn’t believe it without evidence I wouldn’t blame them.
Well, there is the Black Gum...and Ebony, of course. There must be White Oak privilege.

She’s a complete idiot and making everything about race is crazy (and evil with her motivations).
What does having less vehicle charging stations in Amish areas indicate?
.
Well, yes, she really is that stupid.

Add to that Senile Joe, both are the village idiots, or the laughing stock of America, I think both.
This HAS to be from Babylon Bee....This is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard....
Not really. I suspect she meant to say “track by specie” but has race on her mind.
She is so warped on the subject of race, I suspect if she wakes up from a dream she yells “race. race, race”.
in Seattle last summer (where else?)it was discovered last summer that it hotter in black neighborhoods than white ones due to the lack of shade trees.
So the city started planting trees in low income neighborhoods and most were stolen or damaged within a few days
Or maybe trees are racist. Hell, everything else is racist, why not trees? Even more, cities have more blacks and less trees. So cities are racist? I think we're getting closer to the truth here...
I have a lot of black walnut trees on my farm. Does that give me a free pass with the dims or does that make me a slave owner because they can’t leave?
