A witness in the murder trial of Kyle Rittenhouse told the court that Gaige Grosskreutz, one of the men who Rittenhouse shot, had a round chambered in a handgun at the time of the shooting.
The Daily Wire reports that Jason Lackowski is the seventh witness called in the Rittenhouse trial. Lackowski came to the aid of Grosskreutz, the third individual whom Rittenhouse allegedly shot in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on August 25, 2020.
Rittenhouse allegedly shot and killed Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, then shot Grosskreutz while allegedly being chased by protesters.
Lackowski also testified that he heard the crowd yelling “Get him!” as they pursued Rittenhouse.
Rittenhouse allegedly shot Grosskreutz in the arm and Lackowski “helped apply a tourniquet” to slow the bleeding. Lackowski also emptied rounds from a handgun Grosskreutz had in his possession and indicated there was a bullet in the gun’s chamber.

It is irrelevant to the law and question of self defense. The SAD part is that this could affect the opinion of some yahoo on the jury, who fails to understand that.
Kyle is a hero. He took out the trash (two of the three who tried to kill him).
WHEN... (not if) Rittenhouse is exonerated, we’ll see another wave of unmitigated, unrestrained and unprosecuted leftist political violence. The same kind of violence that precipitated this incident.
Facts don’t matter to Democrats and MSM. All they know is that Kyle gun (semi-auto) looks more dangerous (fully automatic) than it actually is. The left also creates problems then pretends someone else did. I viewed a video on Granholm whining about us being at the mercy of OPEC, and you can check it out top of page at Whatfinger News in crawler link. Not even 10 months ago this was not an issue as America was #1 in oil and natural gas production AND a net exporter. I was relieved to find out that Huber (the one who swung the heavy wooden skateboard at Kyle’s head, but he rolled and it hit his shoulder) was one of the two he shot dead. Guy tried to murder Kyle and got what he deserved.
And attackers who bring heavy wooden skateboards to a gun fight THEY STARTED don’t walk away.
And Huber, for those who don’t know, is heavy wooden skateboard guy who swung that at Kyle’s head when Kyle was on the ground. Luckily Kyle rolled enough it hit his left shoulder instead and the rest is history.
“Kyle shot and killed him [skateboard guy] while on the ground as he tried to hit him again...”
I remember it a bit differently but of course it can be looked at again. I remember Kyle getting hit with the skateboard and the guy flying over Kyle, grabbing the barrel of the rifle as he went, his momentum carrying him away from Kyle who was holding the rifle also, then the rifle goes off while both men are pulling on it and skateboard guy realizes he made a big mistake with his grab of the rifle as it was pointing right at his chest as he pulled it towards himself.
Check the vid and see what you think. The skateboard was gone at that point, having been dropped.
He can’t hide forever. Justice doesn’t need to be immediate. When Trump wins in 2024 that will be resolved.
It hasn’t even been brought up that he’s admitted to saying (to best friend - paraphrase) “I shouldn’t have hesitated, I should’ve unloaded the entire clip into him”.
Kyle stopped himself from being executed. This is an admission of intent to murder.
No, he is not. He has a concealed carry permit.
He had several interactions with police; he was convicted of misdemeanors and came close to a felony, but was always able to plead out or make a deal.
He is not a convicted felon.
In his first interview with police after being shot, he lied.
Yup. Ignored will be the excellent job the prosecution is doing in Rittenhouses’ defense.
For your viewing pleasure. Screengrab of moment of impact. Pistol clearly visible.
Mr. dead-ass skateboard punk on left, very lucky Mr. screamy-face behind and to the right.
Kyle was clearly a fraction of a second from being shot when he 'sploded punk's arm.
Prosecution had a rough week. Their law school profs took their names out of their phone contacts.
I was in error.
Thanks,
L
Left out one 'allegedly'. Who writes this crap?
Considering he was running, got whacked with a skateboard, engaged, addressed a malfunction with his rifle, retained his rifle, and engaged again. I dare say that kid did better than many AR owners would’ve in under those circumstances, non combat arms servicemen, and law enforcement. I’d like to know a little more about Kyle Rittenhouse and his experience with the AR-15 pattern rifle. I don’t know if I would’ve come out of that alive,
Bicep = Upper Arm.
Not entirely. In the mind of this citizen who could be a jury in such a case, it helps settle the hypothetical argument, well you were just assuming that he was a threat, but you didn't really know. With a round chambered he was a threat in fact and you don't need to argue presumptions that the gun was loaded or anything.
