Biggs, Boebert, Gaetz and Greene among House Republicans sounding off on Twitter after late-night vote on Democrats' spending plan
House Republicans opposing the Democrats' $1 trillion infrastructure package reacted swiftly late Friday after their colleagues across the aisle – aided by 13 members of the GOP – passed the legislation. ..
..Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., called the bill "garbage," and argued that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi couldn't get it passed without help from the 13 Republicans. The vote was 228-206, with six Democrats, all progressives, voting against it...
...Rep. Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C., warned his fellow Republicans before the vote: "Vote for this infrastructure bill and I will primary the hell out of you." ...

I’m sure there districts got a win fall......it just saved Nancy forcing the squad to vote for it..crooks all.....it’s a joke..the greenies stop all the projects for years....it should be called the lawyers get rich bill
That would be unwise
.
No, it would be integrity. Something that is a dirty word for politicians on both sides of the aisle.
Doesn’t this bill have to go back to the Senate because so many changes were made???
Mcconnel and Romney... Should not have done that. Maybe he knows something... But the 2 cant stand Trump. I can’t stand either one of the 2.
I stand corrected
It would be unwise integrity
Why?
He should not have endorsed Romney at all.
How are they going to do reconciliation now that the 1.5 bill has been passed.
Nothing can be added to it now. It already passed.
At least that is my understanding.
This bill was passed with regular order. China Mitch delivered GOP votes (including his own) in the Senate. McCarthy did the same in the House.
That allows Dems to save their one reconciliation bill for the Green New Deal. They only need 50 votes in the Senate for that and have those votes. Sadly, the GOP are full partners in this beltway scam.
I thought this bill was going to Pedo Joe to sign.
The Dims did NOT attach 3.5 to the 1.5 because they would have lost the “moderates.” So they opted to lose the Squad because they just wanted SOMETHING THAT WOULD PASS.
So, I am thinking they lost the opportunity to combine both bills.
But what do I know. I could be totally wrong.
And pleased that I don’t understand all the messy way the Government works.
I don’t believe there were any substantive changes or any changes to the Infrastructure bill.
They, however, are BUSY LITTLE BEES CHANGING THE HECK OUT OF THE SPENDING BILL...the 3.5 monster.
I think the Spending bill...the 3.5...must be connected to the Infrastructure bill to have only 51 votes.
If I am wrong, I apologize, but if the Spending bill is presented now, I think it will require 60.
No, it only requires 51, it is a budget reconciliation bill.
They can pass it without a single GOP vote.
Every Bush League Republican that voted for the Trojan horse KNEW that before they voted to give the Democrats this last win.
Now they will posture like they are united in their opposition to it even though they enabled it.
I agree with you... Has to be a reason..
There are others he could have endorsed and hasn’t.
Maybe it’s an olive branch.. Maybe they know who would get that seat if Romney lost
. And it would be worse.
Well.. Trying to make sense.
He endorsed Romney in 2018.
You are correct that they could not combine the bills, but now they are going to use reconciliation to pass the “Let’s go Brandon” big mother of socialism bill. If they do, they only need 50 votes and Kamilla Harris will be the winning vote.
Make no mistake, they will get is passed one way or another.
