It was tested on “high-risk” covid patients. 27/385 (7%) of people in the control group were hospitalized and 7 (1.8%) died, compared to 3/389 (0.8%) hospitalizations in the treatment group and no deaths. So it might have presented 24 hospitalizations and 7 deaths.
It seems like covid wasn’t necessarily a death sentence to start with even in these high-risk people but the drug might be useful.
But then what’s the point of injection mandates? Doctors should be free (and encouraged) to treat cases with whatever effective medications are available.
Thanks for the info. Yes, I agree, the elderly probably, should co sider taking it if they have serious conditions, but they shouldn’t be forced to if they feel that they are OK with the very minor chance of dying from Covid. But, they should be offered the chance to take ivermectin as well, either with the vaccines or without, and started on it immediately upon getting covid in addition to giving them the covid meds that are bei g used in the hospitals for, covid. Where they are sick and elder,y, the docs should be throwing the whole enchilada at the virus, including using off label meds lik ivrrmectin. There is nothing wrong with using combos to fight off covid, but the left are such scumbags, who only want compliance. They refuse to allow ivermectin even though it is proving very effective overseas, and even here In The US (just ask the 130 congress-critters who took it when al. Of us are denied it)
