That seems like a pretty even-handed explanation of what’s taken place. And I would agree, putting out the vaccines before the trials had generated some reliable long-term data.

I had some of his original paper that were apparently banned by Amazon until a lot of us screamed.
Last year I was invited to be at some local citizen meetings re Covid.
The Covid B$ would start and continue until I pulled out his papers and Alex Berenson’s booklets.
A female in law used his papers and Berenson’s to blunt B$ at a private high school in her area. Plus, she used CDC’s data that basically there were no Covid deaths in school age kids.
Even that data could not reverse stupid Covid restrictions on her 2 part time businesses.
THAT is exactly their plan...

We are probably seeing what you posted in our immediate family members.
I probably was an early bird to Covid in Nov 2019, before we knew anything about it.
Possibly over the holidays I gave it to one of sons, and he got hammered for about 4 weeks.
Yet, neither my wife nor his wife got the virus or what we ever we had.
Either that son or I passed the virus on to my college age grandson. He was sick just a few days and returned to college after Christmas.
Then, this past summer another one of our Adult sons was diagnosed with the crud, and another young man who adopted us got the crud. Both were diagnosed by their different county public health people. Our son was exposed to me over fall holidays the year before and he never had a problem until this. His doctor felt that our son had the Delta version.
Both used the unauthorized treatments and after a few days staying at home started feeling better and returned to work the next week after being cleared by their county health people.
Neither, the wife of that son, nor the wife of the one who adopted us, nor any other family members got the crud this time.
None of our Wives/DILs/granddaughters/nieces in spite of husbands and other family diagnosed with the crud, got the crud.
Nor did any Granddaughters/Nieces exposed to the above. Most, never had even a cold/nor flu then/later or up to now.
My wife says that our women are sturdier and healthier than the men in our families.
