As a former, long time prosecutor, I can say this is not that unusual. It doesn’t happen often, but it is not unusual. Sometimes witnesses for the prosecution are sympathetic to the defendant, but they never share that sympathy with the prosecutors in pre-trial statements. Sometimes, they have a change of heart. I have had it happen a few times. As a prosecutor, it is maddening. My guess is these witnesses were secretly sympathetic to Rittenhouse and did not show that outwardly before the trial.

Just curious....as a former prosecutor how would you respond to the defense showing the video which,IMHO,screams self defense?
