This is the moment Las Vegas Raiders' star Henry Ruggs sobbed on the ground after crashing his Corvette into a woman's SUV at 156mph as she perished in a huge fireball.

Ruggs, 22, was seen apparently passing in and out of consciousness and holding his girlfriend Rudy Washington in the aftermath of Tuesday night's Sin City smash.

He was allegedly drunk and traveling at high speed when he crashed into Tina Tintor's Toyota RAV4 on Tuesday. The 23-year-old woman and her dog, Maxi, which was in the backseat, burned to death despite bystanders’ efforts to save them, with Tintor allegedly screaming with pain during her final agonizing moments.

I always carry a assisted opening knife and a Zippo lighter. If you need a knife or fire you’re not going to have time to make them.

Hard to believe one could survive a 156mph crash in a Corvette.

A guy I knew in high school crashed his Corvette a block away from our high school. They were going maybe 50mph and slammed into a pole. It made the front pages of the newspaper because they survived with minor scratches, sitting in their seats on the street while pieces of the Corvette were scattered for hundreds of yards, some on the roofs of homes. These cars can explode when hit.

Yeah you have a composite body attached to a sub-structure.

I had thought I read he signed a $156 million 4-year contract. Guess I was off by a decimal point!

That may have been a projection of what his lifetime earnings could have been if he had a typical career.
The NFL union agreement limits the salaries in the early years, then allows free agency after typically 4 years and the money skyrockets.

I try to avoid reading the grisly details of these things as it irritates an emotional dark spot of a former life. I am truly sorry to hear of these details regarding this poor woman. A most horrible death I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. No punishment on this earth will be severe enough for this idiot.

Once again, main stream media tries to make a black skinned criminal into the victim.

Based on the OJ case, I’m predicting Henry walks. And maybe even collects a bunch of damages from GM.

A few years back I saw a wheel break off a semi axle and crash into a car windshield driving just ahead of me on the freeway. Killed the driver instantly and his front seat passenger managed to stop the car to save himself. When your time is up it’s up.

If he’s good enough on the field, he can probably plead it down to a misdemeanor.
