Current Democrat Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (CFGF Lifetime Rating 2%) is running for re-election in Nevada in 2022, which is expected to be one of the most competitive Senate races in 2022. In the 2020 election Biden defeated Trump in Nevada 50.06% to 47.67%, which was only 33,596 votes. The Republican Primary is scheduled for June 14, 2022. Nevada does not have a primary runoff election.

Thank you for saving me the trouble of having to look up Paul Laxalt, a name that sounds like something you shake on your food to get your colon rollin' (can't blame him for his moniker).
He’s already lost statewide once. Still he’s the best candidate-name and all. Most GOP top-tier candidates wait for someone else’s retirement. No real fight in them. At least he’s got that. Optimistic but in the case of another loss he’ll force his opponents into putting more resources into the race. Might even win!
Then you forgot the hairy screed Vegas machine. One would think. Vegas alone negates the rest of the state. Toss Washoe county in and boom! Still think Mrs rktman’s idea of one county one vote would be a good plan. :-}
I like the guy, but a Club for Cheap Labor endorsement is not a good thing.
I realize this but in a GOP year he just has to be competent and should eek it out you would hope.
Perhaps I underestimate the fraud and the Reid machine ... It did sustain him for a long time.

Since Nevada’s Democrats went full Social Democrats, we might pick up the Senate and the governorship next year. The Dem might primary the senator because she isn’t far left enough... Stay tuned... Pass the popcorn...
