SOROS PLEDGES $100 MILLION IN CARLYLE FUND

By Brett D. Fromson

December 8, 1993

NEW YORK, DEC. 7 -- Billionaire investor George Soros has agreed to invest $100 million in a new buyout fund to be managed by the Carlyle Group, a Washington-based investment firm, according to sources familiar with the deal.

And, from youngkin's wikipedia entry:

Prior to entering politics, he spent 25 years at the private-equity firm the Carlyle Group, later becoming its CEO.[3] Youngkin stepped down from the Carlyle Group in September 2020, and announced his candidacy for the 2021 Virginia gubernatorial election in January 2021.[4]

Youngkin's connections with the Carlyle Group are troubling. that connects him with Poppy Bush, who also worked there. This may explain why we didn't see fraud like VA experienced in the 2020 election, i.e., Youngkin is really a RINO who was permitted to win, but isn't expected to back MAGA policies. Time will tell, but I am suspicious of anyone connected to the Bush family, or Soros. This guy is connected to both.
