Voters in Greenbelt, a city in Prince George’s County, have passed a referendum to establish a commission to study reparations for African American and Native American residents.
The referendum asked residents whether they wanted the city to establish a 21-member council to review, discuss and make recommendations related to local reparations. It passed with a vote of 1,522 to 910 on Tuesday, according to city spokeswoman Chondria Andrews.

Reperations for what???? None of those today were slaves. Nor should there be a “penalty” put on Americans because blacks won’t drop the victim mode.
The left are just plain dumb... they live by force. Paying their way...
But paying doesnt satisfy the debt when they still live with less.
Fixing their schools and their part of town so it’s as good as the rest. You want to give them something.. give them schools that prepare them for college .. or for life..teaching what works.. what wins and what stymies. Treat them as a group that can succeed.. give them hope..
If they insist on throwing money down the toilet giving reparations to people who were NEVER slaves, let Prince George’s County pay the complete cost and leave the rest of Maryland alone. This is the most ridiculous thing ever cooked up by libtards and greedy blacks looking to hustle us for something they never earned. By their logic, today’s Jews should be up for reparations from Egypt for 400 years of slavery.
Breathtaking stupidity or insanity are the only possibilities for such a proposal. The American people need to stand up en masses and say, “Hell, No. These politicians and their absurd, hair-brained proposals have to go.”
