True, but the question is; will a jury agree, and what's going to cost us less?
It depends on jury.
I live at ground zero of the Obama/Biden/Holder effort to flood the country with immigrants in the final years of their reign. My city is where they entered by the multi thousands from Mexico. My city was the epic center hand-chosen by Democrat politicians to visit, to criticize, to curse BorderPatrol and ICE…and President Trump. My city is where children were separated from their adult companions until DNA tests were completed proving a family connection. This was done to prevent children from abuse. Adults with children were automatically allowed in until Trump stopped it from being automatic. Many children didn’t even know the people claiming to be their “parents.” It was a thankless task for Trump and our government border security personnel. All calculated and put into motion by Democrat officials. These immigrants had lawyers waiting to hep them on our side of the border. Trump ended that.
Were children separated from parents or guardians? Yes, in all probability…but not with malice. It was to protect the kids and to keep their adult companions from using them as passports. Should we be forced to pay reparations for protecting our country? Did the Pope used to be Catholic?
Who came up with the $450,000 figure as appropriate settlement? How much of that amount was earmarked to pay lawyers and kickbacks?
