Attorney Dionne Webster-Cox asked the following question at a Tuesday protest in Pittsfield Township: How could an unarmed boy necessitate a police officer handcuffing and pointing a gun at him?
Webster-Cox represents Markia Dixson, the mother of an 11-year-old Black boy who experienced this interaction with a Pittsfield Township police officer in April. Webster-Cox filed a lawsuit on Oct. 5 in U.S. District Court against the officer, requesting $400,000 for causing “emotional injury” to the boy.

Lawyers should officially change the name of the profession to lottery agent. It would be more accurate.

11 year old black boy? He's probably already a father with a rap sheet at that age. If he could read, Beatrix Potter is not on his reading list. The cop used his best judgment, and the "youngster" probably appeared far older than his calendar years. How many innocents have been killed by "teens", "youths", and "aspiring rappers"?
