Hatred For The Unvaxxed Comes From A Place Of Emotion, Not Reason
American Thinker.com ^ | November 3, 2021 | Steve Apfel

When COVID-braving Dennis Prager said he contracted it purposely in order “to be taken care of by therapeutics,” the public outcry was more life-threatening than the virus. He must be made to pay for any treatment he gets. He should be denied a hospital bed. Another conservative talk show host spreads his disease.

Every story speaks of a mini plague and every ending is a blameworthy death. Is fear driving the paranoia? What’s to hate in one who makes a choice and takes the consequences, and is content to let others do so? And why is it doctors who seem more prone to arousal? The unvaccinated are despised with incomprehensible ardor.

Take Dr. Clive Shkedy, whose brother died from or with COVID. Dr. Shkedy certainly deserves condolences because losing a brother is a terrible loss. However, because Dr. Shkedy decided to create a video lashing out at others, he cannot hide from critiques about his words. Grief is not a defense to error or irrationality.

When the video starts, Shkedy’s manner is sedate, his words deliberate, and his voice controlled.

“I have no political agenda or investments in any vaccine-making company. But I, as a physician, have an obligation to try and help people and save people’s lives.”

He spends a minute or two explaining why the vaccines are so low risk (although what he really does is reveal the unreasonably high risk The Pill poses for young women). He then reels off Israeli stats for the J & J vaccine. Blood clots.

Did he ever consult the VAERS numbers for America? There, you find 17,128 vaccine-related deaths; 2,631 miscarriages; 8,408 heart attacks; 10,304 Myocarditis; 83,412 hospitalizations, etc. Yes, the stats come with a precaution: causality is not proven.

I believe it comes from envy as well; many people are now re-considering what they’ve done to themselves.

Misery loves company. I do not engage in the argument. There is no point. I have no desire to say “I told you so” to any friends on this matter.

They’ll hate us pure bloods even more when they start having chronic illnesses and find they can’t sue the drug purveyors of death nor the government purveyors.

This doctor did not give ivermectin to his own brother because the brainwashing was more powerful than the desire to save him. He will always know that he failed him.

Right; it is getting out more and more that these definitely have some short-term side effects on some people, while the long-term effects can’t possibly be known - and they have no legal recourse.

Unfortunately I believe many employers were OK with gubmint mandates because that got them off the hook if staff forced to take the hot shot died from it; it wouldn’t be company but gubmint policy that forced them to get it. Without gubmint policy, many employers are wary of requiring it.

I don’t envy anybody. I took the shot, and am willing to accept the consequences.

Do you have “hatred for the unvaxxed”? This was in reference to a specific group.

No, not at all. I couldn’t care less if they’re unvaxxed.

It comes from the left. Someone has to be blamed for Covid deaths and it can’t be Fauci or Biden so they blame the unvaccinated.

You're my hero.

Not for taking the vax, I couldn't care less.

You used, I couldn't care less, correctly. One of my pet peeves is when people say, I could care less. Drives me crazy.

Corporations, on the other hand, are not immune from legal recourse. They will be class actioned into oblivion.

This is an EUA, experimental drug. F them. I hope the heads of these companies get sued into poverty.

That was my point; if staff was given the experimental drug because a corporation required it, then employees (or their survivors) could sue if adverse reactions occurred. On the other hand, if they got it because THE GUBMINT required it, the corporation (or any employer) is off the hook - they didn’t require it.

The gubmint is walking that fine line. Which is an obvious tell.

Mandates are unconstitutional and the gubmint scum know it. I could see a 9-0 Supreme court decision to allow everyone to get sued. Lefties hate corporations.

There is a reckoning coming.

I don’t hate the unvaccinated, I don’t understand their reasoning. They’re sort of like drunk drivers who refuse to wear seatbelts. My disagreement doesn’t rise to the level of hatred, it’s not personal.
