COP26 in Glasgow got off to a good start with world leaders telling billions of ordinary people to, in effect, “Do as we say or we'll let you all die.” The melodramatic hyperbole knows no bounds: apparently we should all be organized as if for war.
For the hyper-rich and powerful, the climate-change scam is just another opportunity to seize more power and make more money by pretending they're saving us from the ‘emergency’ of the ‘climate crisis,’ but only if we do exactly as they say, making them ever richer and more powerful even as us ordinary people are gradually reduced to being property-less powerless serfs in the coming neofeudalism.
Robert Hardman of the Daily Mail (one of very few outlets of the MSM willing to publish critical comment on the climate-change scam) puts the latest tally of COP26 attendees at over 38,000, with more expected.
Meanwhile, the idiot drama-queens and their poster-child Greta Thunberg are taking turns being ridiculous. They dance around the streets in fancy-dress (whoever thought the end of the world could be such fun?!), then are resentfully accusatory and/or pointlessly disruptive (gluing their faces to motorways in the UK).
In an irony (apparently lost on those attending) the conference location in Glasgow -- the most deprived city in the UK -- is a veritable fortress protected by thousands of security staff, insulating attendees from the grim reality outside. But maybe that’s the point: the view outside serves as a grim reminder of how bad things can be allowed to get. And so the useful idiots of climate activism demand ever more harsh measures. They believe totally and uncritically in the core message; their only wish is that they should be among the saved.

According to The Telegraph, the EU official used private jets for more than half of her official visits since she took office in December 2019...
According to The Telegraph, the President of the European Commission has reportedly used a private jet for 18 out of her 34 official trips since December 2019.
Out of these trips, as reported by The Telegraph, was a 31-mile trip between Vienna and Bratislava.
A source told the outlet that the trips were “not feasible with commercial flights”.
The Commission has defended the use of private jets, saying that the plane to COP26 ran on biofuels.
A spokesperson said: “An air taxi is only used when necessary, to enable presence at meetings in various places on a very packed schedule.”...
The EU official has received backlash from many people on social media amid the climate crisis talks at COP26.
One person reacted: “What!? Who in his right mind flies from Vienna to Bratislava? That’s 80 km via motorway. You waste more time on airport formalities than you “save” by flying instead of driving. There’s a reason there are no scheduled flights between Vienna and Bratislava. It’s bonkers!”
Another one wrote: “They all talk the talk but never walk the walk!”
“They don’t care,” another user claimed. “It’s not for them, climate change is for the masses not the elite.”...

Let’s just ban private jets. I know, I know, it will be a tremendous sacrifice for all of us but (swallowing hard), it is one I am prepared to live with. I will just have to tighten my belt and get used to it for the greater good.
All of you politicians and Hollywood types are completely on board with this right? I mean.....you would never dream of being so selfish as to not give up this completely unnecessary luxury when you could all fly commercial, right?
Next, I think its time we talk about bans on yachts over a certain size, limos, more than a certain number of houses (perhaps a square footage budget for each person in your immediate family?). As much as I would hate to give up my humongous oceanfront mansion which costs millions and millions of dollars as well as my ski chalet in Aspen, my giant mansion in a beautiful natural setting in some red state and of course my swanky European residences, again its a sacrifice we are all just going to have to make.
I’m sure all the COP26 crew will be on board with this right? Earth Mother Gaia demands a sacrifice.
