Army scientists working on a vaccine to target all coronaviruses, including mutations of the one causing COVID-19 and others that may emerge in the future, are finding data from early human trials promising and expect to publish the results by year-end.
Researchers at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research have been working since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic on a pan-coronavirus vaccine and are currently analyzing data from the Phase I clinical trial, which began in April with dozens of volunteers. They are following up with participants to monitor the safety and effectiveness of the new vaccine one month after each received their last dose.
“Everything that we have been seeing from early stages of design of our vaccine and testing, in all different animal species, has really just been consistent and predictive of a very good response,” Kayvon Modjarrad, director of Walter Reed’s Emerging Infectious Diseases Branch, said in an interview with McClatchy on Tuesday. “Indications are that we are on that same pathway.”

Are they trannies?
no thanks
y’all can take it, if you want
It sound like they might be doing it right. They are not in rush to “save the world” like NIH and CDC.
Side effects include: A sudden hankering for brains.
I’ve already identified a cure for the next several, likely more dangerous, coronaviruses, but it involves intense heat, radiation, and an unexpected visit by a U.S. submarine.
Impressive. I didn’t know we had orbital submarines. But, in two months we will have churches in space - search “January suborbital denomination”

I tried the hot toddy treatment once. I do not remember what the recipe was I put together at the time but I just could not drink it; 2 sips and it was just awful. Some day I will try a deconstructed version.
My late grandmother took a tablespoon (big kitchen spoon really) of 4 Roses whiskey, I think this is bourbon, everyday. She made an awful face every time. I do not ever remember her having a cold, not something a kid would pay much attention so I’m sure she had at least the sniffles a time or two. I will have to ask my mother about this. She never drank any other type of alcohol.
unfortunately, this one is behind a paywall. have heard the article being read on radio and it’s all about attacking multiple parts of the spike protein (or whatever) and somehow involves SARS-CoV-1 as well. maybe someone can access the article:
2 Nov: The Australian: Aussie breakthrough brings a universal vaccine closer
Scientists may have uncovered the key to formulating vaccines that will be effective against all future strains of Covid-19, which could pave the way for a universal vaccine...
Would anyone trust anything medical coming from the government, especially the Army? The banned gain-of-function experiments in Wuhan were run there by the U.S. after the labs for the Army in the U.S. couldn’t keep from screwing up.
