"Dems are cursing Twitter for banning Trump."

They can curse about that all they like. The bigger deal is that parallel platforms are rising in response to the Facebook and Twitter shenanigans.
Same deal with payment systems and crowdfunding sites due to shenanigans there as well.

Glenn Youngkin, who held a solid lead Tuesday with 85 percent of precincts reporting.

85%? I hope that doesn’t give the rats 🐀 a chance to steal it.

Let the internecine war begin!

The time of comity among Democrats ended last night in tears for the Democrats now begins the season of blame, backstabbing, maneuvering and indiscipline as every elected Democrat looks only to personal survival. Whatever minimal fear Biden could command over Congress has died last night. No Congress person has reason to fear Biden. He has lost the confidence of the people, he manifestly has no coattails, more important, he has no power to move the electorate for or against a fellow Democrat. Neither can he harm nor protect Democrats who stray or who fall on their sword for him.

The season for Democrats to eat their will now emerge into the public view and it will be the clever rather than the party loyal Democrats who save themselves. Indeed, the more a Democrat official adheres to the party line, the more he associates himself with the parties absurdities.

We saw last night on MSNBC a left-wing attempt to cobble together an explanation for the loss in Virginia that enables Democrats to continue to play the race card. Larry Sabato for one revealed himself to be what he always was, a leftist, when he picked up the McAuliffe and MSNBC line that Youngkin won because he deceived the electorate about the existence of critical race theory in the public schools. The evidence is overwhelming that such a curriculum exists. The parents who stormed the school board meetings were not deceived, they looked into their children's monitors during the lockdowns and were appalled by that curriculum.

But MSNBC and Larry Sabato are attempting to whup-up the Democrats' African-American base even as they dish guilt to suburban (especially female) white voters. If it works-it won't-it would enable the Democrats to prosper from Nathan Bedford's first maxim of American politics:

All politics in America is not local but ultimately racial.

By continuing to run on race the Democrats think they might bridge the gap between the radical Marxists of the Bernie Sanders wing and the nuts and bolts Democrats seeking merely to retain there state and federal power sinecures. Run on race, win the election, appease the radical Marxists and keep the music playing because race is still the shining object.

When the Democrats play the race card, they are free to lie without consequences. If the election is about race, facts don't matter. This very successful model for the Democrats fell apart last night in Virginia. Because the excesses of the Democrats on every issue were so egregious and because the excesses of the Democrats got between Mama Bears and their cubs, Nathan Bedford could smile.

The Republican coalition of rural lands and suburbs was to a degree restored last night in Virginia because the race card had lost its power for this time and place. If the Republicans can hold the disenfranchised blue-collar middle-class of the Rust Belt, they can win big, PROVIDED ALWAYS, they counter Nathan Bedford's first maxim.

LOL! I'm seeing that as well. Without Trump's tweets to campaign against, all they've got are their own failing policies.

Wouldn't be surprised if Jack reinstates his account here in the near future.
