"Have the railroads decided to allow camping along their rights of way?" Until about 20 or 30 years ago, the Union Pacific bulls were universally feared by hobos. The UP bulls were the meanest toughest hombres in the USA. A hobo would end up in a bloody pulp, in jail or both. No trespassing on UP property and rights of way, and they meant it.
