No, actually they want Youngkin to say something bad about Trump to alienate Trump supporters. Fortunately, Youngkin isn’t taking the bait, he’s running a brilliant campaign and is not playing the “I’m not Trump, I’ll work with Democrats” game. Only bad thing that Youngkin did is that he said he’ll accept the election results. No Republican candidate going forward should agree to accepting the election results should they lose.
