Well, that depends on how large a house in Nantucket they’re shopping for. But the Journal article says payments are expected to be around $1 million per family, and about $1 billion total.
My guess is that most houses in Nantucket are probably a little out of these people’s price range, but only a little.
Besides — the people who are paying out this money live in Nantucket. So I can’t imagine they’d want the plaintiffs living there. Maybe next door to you instead. I’m sure you’re a good neighbor, and you probably need to have your consciousness raised by living next door to an Other.
