Hmm, I wonder if the cdc will change their “death involving herpes” to “deaths with confirmed or presumed herpes”?
Just because a person has something doesn’t mean they died FROM that something, or even that that something exacerbated the person’s other conditions to the point of causing death.

The "death involving COVID" designation is what doctors, hospitals, and the like throughout the country are putting on individual death certificates. This is what is being reported to the NCHS and then reported out by the CDC.
