Manchin has flipped. He is now trying to sell the Biden's efforts and urging that the Congress support him before his European Trip. Also, he is urging a 15% “patriotic tax” for those who have benefited from the deductions in the existing tax code and don't otherwise pay taxes.

The Squad and other communists in the House want to see a written statement detailing what’s actually in the bill before they vote on it. It’s probably dead in the Senate, definitely if Manchin and Sinema hang tough. But who knows what could happen there if they’re threatened enough, or bought off by Schumer.
I understand there are two bills, one for about $1.8 trillion and another one for a lot more. It’s hard to get any reliable information about any of this. I heard the second bill is some 2,400 pages long which none of these lawmakers have read.
