No. We have neither sufficient generation nor transmission and distribution infrastructure for that. Elon Musk, Mr. Tesla, even said so recently.

Can the electrical grid support charging all of those coal cars? Imagine, everyone goes home from work between 5 and 6 every day. They all plug in their E.V.'s to charge for the next days run. Then, to make matters worse they crank up their AC to cool down their houses.
It would collapse the entire grid.
