It doesn’t surprise me to read here about person after person fired suddenly without notice due to pale skin.
The impetus behind the current rise in racist thinking is revenge. When you’re told for decades that your lack of progress is due to other people with light skin who supposedly control society, resentment and envy are natural, followed by revenge. I’m seeing the notion of payback being stated outright by our current batch of racist pigs, who seem to believe that their skin color, genitals, or sexual desires grant them privilege to express their rage at those they think of as oppressing them.
This is a reason, I think, for their hatred towards Christianity and American culture, both of which base their worldview on individuals struggling for improvement using principles that apply to all of humanity.
A brief story of my own. A colleague heard me making a joke based on the death of George Floyd. Someone told me that they couldn’t breathe; they had the sniffles. I told her to stop using fentanyl. A colleague overheard this and complained, and wouldn’t take anything I said as a meaningful apology. After a few back and forths with management, I prepared a grievance, backed by contact with an attorney, that stated my colleague was harassing me for perceived political difference and racist animus - I’m Jewish, she was Native American - and any further comments by the colleague would mean that I would file my grievance. She shut up, in a sullen manner, and quit a few weeks later, and did not mention it to anyone at work again. So in that regard I had a Dave Chappelle moment.
The law is actually on our side. I don’t want the war, but if it is brought to me, so be it.
Well, there's your problem right there!
You APOLOGIZED!
Regards,
excellent!
