They’ve crossed a line with their employees who are likely to treat management going forward as the Pfascists they exposed themselves as.

Um, yes.
Mandates will never go away until those behind them do.

Being tossed into “Non-Wellness” pricing for being unvexxed will directly cost my family about an additional $460/month.
Gee, one sick day more than covers that.
Never used random sick days much over the decades here but now 1 sick day costs more than $460.
Never spent a lot of time or resources in the restroom before, toilet paper prices are going up and flushing multiple times with added toilet paper on each flush cleans the toilet nicely.
Never forced others to strictly follow procedures before(slows projects sometimes) so I guess it’s time to start.
Never anon-reported random OSHA or other violations before because they got fixed eventually but surprise OSHA inspections could get faster results.
Never opened the window by my desk much with large HVAC units on the roof struggling to keep up but fresh air seems nice now.
Never asked competent engineers to check their work again(slows projects) but being extra-careful seems nice now.
Never been one to leave exactly at quitting time but extra hours now seem wasteful of my time and effort.

Of course there are many more ways to go about it.

Finally, the communists have begun the final steps in “nationalization” of private industry within the guise of a phony “pandemic”...

All the earlier steps were written into laws, rules, and regulations over the past 60-years...

Frogs in a pot...
It works every time...

One wonders if the ‘contract’ with federal contractors actually has them agree to do whatever the government may take it into their little pin heads to make them do?

If so, they were fools to agree to it.

If not, contract negotiations must take place to change it. Or a lot of work won’t be getting done should the feddies drop the contractors.

The mandate does nothing to existing contracts. It only covers new contracts or contract extensions. The EO direct the feds to add language into all renegotiations, extensions and new contracts mandating the contractor employees be vaccinated. There is also language that clearly allows for religious and/or medical exemptions, but it seems many employers are either taking a harsher stand than necessary, or have been asked to deny them in back room deals with the feds.

“The EO direct the feds to add language into all renegotiations, extensions and new contracts mandating the contractor employees be vaccinated.”

EOs don’t trump the 4th amendment: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures...”

On Amtrak’s website:

“Since we believe the vaccine offers the best way to keep our employees and customers safe, Amtrak is requiring that all employees get vaccinated.”

Amtrak personnel are out of luck.

”We have one of our U.S. senators that has implored us and others within the state of Alaska not to make these decisions until there is more certainty on what direction is the country is headed on this,” board member John Binkley said, referring to comments made recently by Republican U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan.

So it is not that they are making a stand but seeing which way the wind blows...........................
