I never wear clothes with logos on them. However, when I saw that I could buy a “Let’s Go Brandon” t-shirt for only $20, I couldn’t resist. Today, when I went to my local outlet mall and then to Costco, I wore that shirt. I live in the Southeast, in an area with a sizeable Black population and a lot of Democrats. Still, there are conservatives here so I expected some recognition for the shirt. What I didn’t expect was the happiness with which my shirt would be greeted.
At the outlet mall, a young Black woman, maybe in her late 20s, came hurrying up to me. “I love your shirt,” she said. “Where did you get it?” I explained that I’d bought it online. We agreed that its subtlety made it especially appealing. From there, the brief conversation drifted to Ben Shapiro (she’s a big fan, while I’m more of a Matt Walsh and Michael Knowles person) and ended with fond farewells on both our parts.
My next stop was Costco, where the shirt again elicited happy praise, although this time from White people only. A young woman with a small child in her cart told me that she loved my shirt. Two grizzled older men liked it too. When I checked out, the clerk said, “I love your shirt.” She also told me that the gas station she passes on the way to work increased the price of gas by ten cents overnight.
The whole experience was so uplifting that I’m planning to make the shirt my standard garb for shopping. The great thing about it is that it’s not “in your face.”

“She may or may not have said it on instruction from her director”
I always assumed she was getting orders in her earpiece from her producer.
I think that's Animal Farm.
“Willie and Camel Toe” tshirts would be subtle but also NOT subtle.
“I keep wondering if the reporter who helped coin this phrase is still kicking herself.”
Yeah... where’s a good back pocket copywrite lawyer when you need one?
I want to see the signs and hear the chants on ESPN’s college gameday.
Forget it. He’s on a roll.
You’re absolutely right I routinely make typing errors
I get compliments on it every time I wear it out in public
I do it all the time. I blame it on my head getting ahead of my fingers.
Only problem with a lot of these shirts is, they’re made in China! I’ve been trying to find a Gadsden flag license plate for the front of my car, can’t find one not made in China...hell they’re the ones treading on us!
The guy's booth was packed with smiling shoppers, holding out their money.
Imported = Made in China.
Blame spellcheck!
>>Wore my new T-Shirt “Let’s Go Brandon” yesterday.....it’s my own form of passive aggression....
which will accomplish nothing - ‘lets go brandon’ is exactly what the democrats want, easily dismissed, nobody except insiders know what it means, and doesn’t make any point or political statement except to the people who already know what it means, and already have an opinion.
Good job playing right into the democrats hand.
Who pissed in your cornflakes this morning ???
Mad and pissed off is no way to live your life, at least for me it isn’t....it’s what I do to make a very small political statement, so what....it makes me feel good about doing it...
Besides bitching and complaining what is your solution...
Same here. Got a Let’s Go Brandon sweatshirt online, and it is greeted with joy everywhere I go.
EVERYONE should be wearing an item of clothing with Let’s Go Brandon. It is a happy experience, and it lets us know our numbers are BIG.
And it triggers our overlords and their apparatchiks.
Re #34: Maybe the stupidest comment ever made at FR.
>>Besides bitching and complaining what is your solution...
Congrats, people like you changed thousands of people, at many locations who used to cheer ‘f*ck joe biden’ - which is unmistakable in what it means, and now they cheer ‘lets go brandon’ which to the average person *means nothing* and accomplishes nothing....the Democrats couldn’t have planned it better themselves.
>>.it’s what I do to make a very small political statement,
Problem is, its NOT a political statement - its an inside joke.
Stand up and say ‘F*ck joe biden’ if you want to make a political statement.
The democrats are laughing at this ‘Lets Go Brandon’ foolishness, guaranteed.
>>Who pissed in your cornflakes this morning ???
Want to be a coward, be a coward, thats your choice.
I will continue to proudly fly my ‘Fuck Joe Biden’ flag.
Everyone knows how where I stand when they see that flag; nobody knows what ‘Lets Go Brandon’ means except a few insiders and political junkies - all of who *already* know how they are going to vote next time around - on both sides. You have been played for a fool. You can pretend you are making a political statement with your ‘Lets Go Brandon’ T-shirt. Democrats are smirking at the stupidity of how they cleverly managed to stop a wave of ‘F*ck Joe Biden’ chants spontaneously breaking out around the country and replace it with....what exactly?
