Netflix is looking to make a former New Jersey Army base a new production facility, the company told The Hill.
A Netflix spokesperson told The Hill in a statement that it plans to turn the Fort Monmouth Army base into a “state-of-the-art production facility.”

Spent several years at Fort Monmouth, it was a great place but very small.
In 1974 the Marine Corps sent me to Fort Monmouth for a 26 week course on dial central office repair. I learned all about Strowger Automatic Electric and Stomberg Carlson X-Y equipment.
I used to attend the VBoB ( Veterans of The Battle of The Bulge) luncheons there many years ago. They were every fourth Thursday of the month.
Two uncles of mine served in the ETO.
I was there as an associate member in their honor.
Man. Seems like a million years ago.
