Nobody is stopping kids from playing sports with their friends. But high school athletics often are a route for poor kids to get into college via athletic scholarships. It’s no longer just about the game itself; futures are at stake. And many girls who trained hard and long will lose out all because a boy wants to pretend he’s a girl.
