Old-school Democrats are screaming at the Hard Left as the storm clouds gather.
A rare snippet of truth surfaced on MSNBC Monday morning, and it came from a somewhat shocking source.
You’re aware of Donny Deutsch, right? He might win the prize for the most typical ruling-class Democrat in America. Deutsch comes from the advertising field — he inherited a New York ad agency from his father, which he unloaded on a larger company and pocketed $265 million. What did Deutsch like better than crafting advertising messages and placing media? Going on TV, of course. CNBC gave him a show from 2004-08, and then it was canceled. Since then, he’s gotten more chances to fail as a TV host than the Van Gundys have had as NBA coaches. Finally in 2019, he had his last gasp with a Saturday night show on MSNBC. That lasted 13 episodes.
Deutsch is also an author. That hasn’t gone particularly well either. His 2005 business motivational opus Often Wrong, Never in Doubt — Unleash the Business Rebel Within was panned vigorously by Publishers’ Weekly, which noted in a review that the book was filled with quotations like these: “I’m not going to f**k somebody for business…. unless she’s really hot. Why not? I’d f**k her if we weren’t doing business.”
He also fathered a child out of wedlock. Because of course he did.

As for old time Democrats, they voted for this nightmare. They’re just as responsible for the destruction of America because they would do it again, all because of TDS. Idiots.

It doesn’t work like that. Things aren’t as static and easily predictable as you think. Growing up in Alabama there was a time when the Democratic party stranglehold was so strong, people used to say Republicans will never win a statewide office. Things change.
I believe the Author is saying that the #JihadJunta (Bammy, Soros, Susan Ricin, ValJar et al) are making even rabid Demoncrats mad with their rapid destruction of the USA. The thing is, even they have to buy gas (even for their Prius) and food (Trader Joe’s and Wegmans) and they are getting riled about the rapid increases in prices. Simply put, their philosophical views of politics are coming back to bite them hard in their ample posteriors.

Right now the demographics are being changed in the country to favor leftist goals. 1.7 million ILLEGAL ALIENS so far. In three more years it will be 8 million. Then their relatives come in. In 10 more years it will be 50 million new Democrat voters. Even the “moderate” Democrats can’t stop this demographic time bomb freight train....

I’ve known two people who own a Prius. Neither was a lefty. They just liked them for the daily commute and buying gas maybe once a month.
I can’t tell you how many lefty’s I know that drive things like Suburbans and Escalades... I bet the left is equally if not more impacted by gas prices. I swear sometimes they love that climate guilt almost as much as the white guilt.
