Roughly $10 billion of a $46 billion pool of federal rental aid has made it to renters, landlords and utilities companies after another $2.8 billion was disbursed by state and local governments in September, the Treasury Department announced Monday.

Treasury said that funds from the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program reached more than 510,000 households last month and more than 2 million since the initiative began this year.

The department had distributed the entirety of the $46 billion to eligible state and local entities in May to help struggling renters avoid eviction upon the expiration of federal and state moratoria.

What a shock, another government program that siphons off money for the left to put into their own pockets. Leftists lack so much self awareness they even make fools of themselves nowadays. I read an article over at PJmedia of one fresh instance, “Let’s Go Brandon! Washington Post Issues the ‘Greatest Correction’ Ever”, so give that a look. Remember they wrote that then proof read it again before issuing that statement. WOW! If you check the bank accounts of those administering the funds I guarantee you’ll find what isn’t going to renters.

That’s what the stimulus was too. A great big chunk of that never got where it was meant to go.

Landlords are the ones who’ve been ‘wronged’ and had to allow people to live in properties they couldn’t afford. You obviously make too much sense for the interwebs.

Why the heck is this money going to the households instead of the landlords/mortgage holders? They are the injured parties.

I suspect the “grayed out” button was by design. I’m convinced they really do not want people accessing funds, and they put so many hoops in place for you to jump through. In the end, they CAN claim it is not impossible to get access to the funds, but they sure try to wear you down.

Is the rent moratorium still in effect in any states?
