"...The Willard has a lovely reputation and is a gracious hotel...."

Always wanted to stay there because of its historical significance, but never got to. Years back, a large chunk of my vacation time was used to visit the National Archives, to go through pension and military records of Civil War soldiers. I always stayed with a friend who lived in Clinton, Maryland, and I'd drive into the city every day. The only traveling I do these days is to visit my two sons, and my brother's family.

The Willard is our choice when visiting DC

Although I don’t know if I’ll ever get back, the Dems have ruined the city!
We’ve had reservations twice where we had to cancel.
Once we were lined up to take our granddaughter to all the museums...,,,and cancelled because of rioting!

You should try to stay there if ever possible.......,it is another era really, like stepping back in time.
The rooms are huge!
