As Russia shuts down, Putin 'can't understand what's going on' with vaccine hesitancy

During a televised meeting with government officials, Putin said he didn’t understand the vaccine hesitancy in the country, even among some of his close friends who have delayed getting the jab.

“I can’t understand what’s going on,” Putin said, according to AP. “We have a reliable and efficient vaccine. The vaccine really reduces the risks of illness, grave complications and death,” he said.

“There are only two ways to get over this period — to get sick or to receive a vaccine,” he said. “It’s better to get the vaccine. Why wait for the illness and its grave consequences?” he added.

Domestically produced vaccines are available in Russia, none of which have been approved by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Despite what you’ve been told, covid is not a death sentence.

How about a third method and that is to strengthen and enhance your immune system which has many other benefits.

I do not know what the Russian developed vaxes do, but it doesn’t sound like a real vaccine according to Putin’s description here — but does sound like the new definition of vaccine.

Yeah, what gives? The effects are mild compared to what you get from Polonium 210

"Because the vaccine has graver consequences", Bagster added.

I read one post about Putin and I think, "Bravo - I'd rather have this guy in the White House".

Then I read another post about him and I think, "This guy has no more grip on reality than the idiot in the White House".

Of course not Russia is not reliably socialist anymore.

Russia does not tow the LBGT party line.

“It’s better to get the vaccine. Why wait for the illness and its grave consequences?’

Because the consequences are generally not as grave as portrayed, especially if one can get the therapeutics in good time. Even without the therapeutics, the illness is grave only for a small subset of the population. Further, there are grave concerns that the so-called vaccines haven’t gone through the usual longitudinal studies to determine whether there are serious side effects. So that’s why many of us wait and prefer to take our chances with getting the illness (if we haven’t already had it) and getting natural immunity instead of tinkering with the immune system we have.

I simply think it’s a bad idea to have KGB in the White House...it’s bad enough we have a senile, incompetent old man in the White House, surrounded by wanna be dictators.

He appears to be a patriot.

Presidents here who act in the United States' best interest are few and far between.

This virus appears to be following its natural course through various world populations, after its release by ChyNa.

Everywhere it goes, it is used to spread political unrest.

In this case, by “The Hill”. I doubt Putin’s comments are any more than the answer to a question. The AntHill is just trying to prop up the party line of “all must be vaxed”.

It does sound, from the few words given, that Sputnik5 doesn’t arrest the spread any better than the others, though.

Joe I can vouch for that. Had it in Aug. I’m 70. No severe headaches, two little small bouts with fever-—but remember, I’m in Phoenix, so I literally walked outside for 10 minutes & fever broke.

Mostly, a badly distorted sense of taste. All salty things were UBER salty to the point I couldn’t eat them; and the same with sweets-—too sweet. I lived on Lite Lemonade. Mostly, overwhelming fatigue. Just going to the bathroom was an expedition. And you have “Covid brain,” a fogginess that makes reading hard. Still, I watched a lot of TV and slept a lot and was over it in a week-—then I got pneumonia, so meds took that out in a week.

Until pneumonia, I didn’t take anything other than aspirin. I was too fatigued to go to the store to look for any of the vitamins or other stuff, so stock up before hand.

In short, it was the flu. And now I have the antibody.

So this story about Pootie-poot is astounding. Does not ONE world leader get this?

Doesn’t a single world leader get this-—that the vaxxes are worse than the disease?

99.7% survival rate. Of those .03% who do not survive, 90% are elderly, obese, diabetic, smokers, have heart conditions or are a combination of those. We’re turning the world upside down to protect those .03%, many of whom are in that group because of poor lifestyle choices. It doesn’t make sense.

“Despite what you’ve been told, covid is not a death sentence.“

Amen to that!

I cannot understand how so many people think we can stop ourselves from ever getting sick by mandating drugs and bullying the non-compliant.

Has NOBODY ever lived on this planet before??

(Fact of life: we ALL get sick sometimes. Oh yeah… one day we are ALL going to die from a sickness sometime. It’s unavoidable)

Russia has crappy free state healthcare, unless you can afford private medical treatment.

"Russia Wednesday reported 1,028 new coronavirus deaths, the highest 24-hour death toll in the country since the start of the pandemic, according to The Associated Press (AP). The country has tallied 226,353 total COVID-19 deaths, the most in Europe."
