Look carefully at how AlecBaldwln is spelled.

Alec Baldwin Quits Twitter After Controversy over Wife Hilaria's Heritage: 'Goodbye for Now'
As for being blue check verified, have you considered there are other men named Alec Baldwin?
And in a TV show where they were using muzzle loaders, someone was impaled because they left the rod inside.
Probably shooting into the camera. A common shot in Hollywood films.
I hate Baldwin's politics, but it's not his fault. Duties are heavily segregated on big budget films, often by union mandate. Only the wardrobe mistress is allowed to touch the clothes. Only gaffers are allowed to move cables, etc.
The Props Department was responsible for prepping the gun. The Director told Baldwin when to shoot, and in which direction. Baldwin likely did as he was told, as do all actors.
How did they get a blue check?
The incident sounds like a movie plot; or a tee vee series’ episode.
Without doing some research, I think there was an episode of Perry Mason in the second series where a star shoots the film’s producer on set.
“Alec is a rabid antigun zealot and he’s killed someone with a firearm”
Like many anti-gun lefties, they diss guns but do violent movies. Strange.

It's 2021. How is it that a Hollywood production crew can't safely film a firearm scene in a movie where EVERYTHING is fake?
The five rules of firearms safety:
1. Don't ever let the government take your guns.
2. All guns are always loaded.
3. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
4. Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
5. Identify your target (and what is behind it).

Baldwin is a fake, so who cares.
Yes, after his press agent showed up.
The important question is: WAS IT A REGISTERED PROP GUN?
I also hope that it wasn't a "high-capacity" prop gun.
Regards,
The set was filming a western. If they had period correct guns, the prop gun would/should be single action. If so, the difference between one shot and two eliminates accidental discharge. Be interesting to follow.
Good posts; thanks for the ping, bitt.
Not directed at you Janet, but that statement makes no sense. What possible use would you have for any live ammo on a movie set?
And who hands another person a firearm without checking the load?
It is way, way to early for any of the stories to be taken without a huge grain of salt.
Pretty good questions. He didn't even shoot actors. What is it we have all been taught? A gun is always loaded? Never point at what you won't shoot?
