Things will probably get better when DOT Buttguy gets back from breast feeding her purchased twins.
“I don’t remember a time when so many extreme events were happening in shipping,” said Stifel analyst Ben Nolan, who has been covering the sector for the past 16 years.
Steeeeful? Aren’t they the canned-news investment folks who advertise canned news during drive time saying “Well, we’re watching this story. If things go this way, the market could go this way. If things go the other way, the market could go the other way. Steeful investors can talk to their.....Steeful.....advisor.”
Yeah, a real genius.
Oh, this just silly. I’m sure everything is fine. Uncle Joe told us so!
Here. Let’s take a live look at the container ships waiting to unload at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. I’m certain we will see that...
Oh, dear...

Well, okay, so there is a slight delay on the West coast.
I bet it’s smooth sailing in Savannah Geor...

I had no idea tankers made up such a large percentage of ocean cargo. Thanks for the link.
Goods made in America sometimes procure raw materials globally. They are not immune from tbis issue
Sure thing.
“Goods made in America sometimes procure raw materials globally. They are not immune from this issue.”
There is no raw material that the US can’t provide either. Any shortage of material is political, not physical.
But the transportation secretary is changing diapers, so it’s all good.
He (she) is also trying to figure out how to nurse the babies since he (she) is the mother.
Think of it as a road with a red light every 100 feet - when you pass thru one Red Light you run into another.
There is plenty of ship capacity - chassis shortage is #1 - followed by no open warehouse space any where especially in the Inland Empire.
Then add the Customs and Border patrol checking more containers in LA - Long Beach slowing the process...the Red Lights keep lining up.
Now you've done it. You are pissing off the Free Republic Free Traitor army.
I am a “just in case” person—and they are correct about the “poor communication”.
I don’t tell _anyone_ what I have...
;-)
If you still make stuff in the USA then you are raking it in. A GOOD THING.
Economic distress and lockdowns
Politicians pushing idiotic agendas
Constant push for a cashless society
Globalists and globalism
Papers, please - required to buy and work
Restaurants being shut down - can’t sell
These are definitely not good ... Wait for it ... Omens.

What caused it to happen now, and not earlier?
Or, to be a little more polite, a “Fuster Cluck.” 😁😁😁
It’s a way of stimulating the economy....indirectly. Demorats fingers always on this stuff.
I'm actually okay with that. Doubt dems are doing it intentionally. But it's mostly Chinese crap that is undercutting the US economy.
Actually I would prefer it be done under color of law. Raise the tariffs until half the ships quit coming.
I call on the Longshoreman to strike. Shut it all down.
Make it in America!!!
Yep!
