The U.S. has the resources to be almost entirely independent from the “global economy.” In a world where a virus and a Communist dictatorship have exposed how pathetically dependent we are, it shouldn’t be considered “crazy” to seriously think about making America a self-contained economy.
Looks like they need to add a few pros & cons to that list in light of recent events.

After what I saw on Newsmax tonight (US-operated ports booming and Chinese-operated ports at a standstill) I’m wondering if the Chinese ports may have been hacked (they are highly automated), and they’re not making the news know to save face(?)
