Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Ky.) said late Tuesday that former White House strategist Steve Bannon’s refusal to cooperate with the House committee investigating the Capitol riot suggests President Trump was "personally involved in the planning and execution of January 6th."
"Based on the committee’s investigation, it appears that Mr. Bannon had substantial advance knowledge of the plans for January 6th and likely had an important role in formulating those plans. Mr. Bannon was in the war room at the Willard on January 6th. He also appears to have detailed knowledge regarding the president’s efforts to sell millions of Americans the fraud that the election was stolen," Cheney said as panel voted unanimously to hold Bannon in contempt and refer him to the Justice Department for criminal charges.
Cheney also said that Bannon and Trump's privilege arguments "do appear to reveal one thing."

I don't think the Fifth Amendment applies since it isn't a criminal trial. But he can answer every question with "I don't remember" and let them try and prove he's lying.
So, anyone who refuses to cooperate in a witch hunt is automatically assumed to be a witch. Good to know.

Cheney’s fervor at destroying Trump and anyone associated with trump points to a hidden problem. Either she has TDS -or- more likely, she’s covering up a deeper crime of her own. Her obsession with Trump is on the level of the most fringe leftists.
What does she hope to accomplish? To snuff out the flame of populism? make it politically costly to actually support anything beneficial to the American people, such as secure borders or more jobs for people in this country? What are her financial interests?
She’s either mentally unbalanced or covering up her own financial interests.
