The problem with people like you (RINOs) is that you continually take your cues for what is acceptable and prudent from your enemies.

A moderate may be the best we can do in places like Massachusetts — or even the more pinko areas of Texas — but this particular state House district in suburban Houston is solidly Republican (pending redistricting) and we can do WAY better than to keep electing some squish in this case.
