..During the interview with McAuliffe, Minock began by pressing him on his controversial remarks at last month's gubernatorial debate where he said "I don't think parents should be telling schools what they should teach."...."Alright, we are over. That’s it. That’s it," McAuliffe said as he stood up from the chair ... Democrats expect their butt boys in the press to ask questions like, "what kind of ice cream do YOU like?" A reporter committing real journalism is risking his career...GOOD FOR YOU NICK MINOCK...

"That company had been in business for over 200 years."
I see that its origins go back to Englishman James Man in 1783...sugar broker...which could possibly mean he made his money off the backs of slaves that worked in sugar plantations.

Sugar broker, not grower. Or it could have been indigo, cotton, logwood, mahogany, naval stores or anyone of a dozen other commodities.
However, we are glad you got your chance to virtue signal for the day. Feeling more virtuous now?

Relatively speaking, this has been a quiet campaign. That means the democrats are going to start dragging out the “victims” and Gloria AllRed soon. Maybe someone that passed away at a subsidiary once owned by Carlyle will be someone Youngkin “killed” .. like they did to Romney. The democrats have nothing. Their ideas are unpopular. All McAwful has going for him is to turn off some Youngkin voters in the areas surrounding NoVa because they usually vote on election day. That’s his strategy. BOLO for media victims this weekend.

h/t Betty Jane:
Youngkin should focus on the schools getting rid of gifted and talented programs and AP classes. Upper middle class NOVA parents care about those. Also ridding the test to get into Thomas Jefferson High School because too many Asians get in.

You assumed I was virtue signaling? Then you assumed wrong. I was stating an historic fact, because history is my hobby. British sugar brokers, as well as those from other countries, did profit off the sugar products from plantations. They sold it around the world for consumption. And slaves worked on those plantations. It's just plain, simple history.
