Doubtful. California’s regulations pretty much eliminates all trucks older than maybe 2018?

I know several drivers that stopped pulling cans (containers) because the freight companies they contracted with were eating them alive by not keeping up the equipment and charging the drivers for faulty equipment.
One guy picked up an empty axle. It had two bald tires. He was told the tires on that axle were fine, if there was a problem it would come out of his settlement. He told his dispatcher to KHA, got on the phone and signed on with a reefer company the next day.
