Not saying Trump shouldn’t fight back or play offense against the Dems. Not at all.

Just saying that too much of it wears thin on some voters who can determine his political fate. And at times those ‘skirmishes’ can detract from his accomplishments. The conservatives (including myself) love the brawling and his street fighter instincts but there’s a segment of independent voters (whose support he truly needs) that don’t like it so much.

Mud wrestling is unpresidential and at times it hurts him more than it helps him. Just think he needs to be mindful of that.

Sometimes, fighting dirty in-the-weeds is necessary, but shouldn’t be the mainstay, as his has been. I agree.

Yet, he’d been fighting alone for 4yrs, and had no help from others in the GOP/GOPe.

I personally love his fighting spirit (he and DeSantis seem to be the only street fighters in the party) but at the same time recognize the need for him to appeal to independents and some Republicans who are not so comfortable with his style. He needs their support.

I’ve talked with quite a few people who like his policies but have problems with his incessant tweeting, etc. I think they feel some sense of embarrassment by openly saying they agree with him.. JMHO

That said I have no problem with Trump going on the attack on important issues instead of being a punching bag like so many Republicans are.

His tweeting tool is gone now, regardless of what he does, in 2024.

“His tweeting tool is gone now,”

I don’t understand why he doesn’t post on Gettr (if he isn’t already). it would help him and it would help Gettr.

Ironically that may be a good thing, in a sense. Again, I enjoyed his tweets but they can also open the door to a lot of unnecessary and distracting controversy IMO.

We’ll have some liberal propagandists on FR saying this makes Trump mean.
