Al Gore in 2006... “The snows on Mount Kilimanjaro will be gone within the decade.”
The real inconvenient truth???
Mount Kilimanjaro still has snow on it’s top and that snow will be there long after you, I and Al Gore have passed from this earth.

When they predict weather accurately and quit fudging and cheating on numbers, I’ll believe their fake climate predictions. NOT!

Still looks pretty snow topped.

We went to Amboselli National Park in Kenya a few years ago.The park is close to Mount Kilimanjaro and it’s easily seen from everywhere in the park. While we were there (February) there was very little snow on the summit. But it does seem possible that the amount of snow varies throughout the year despite it being very close to the equator.

Africa’s glaciers are rare for two reasons: 1) the Ice Age is over, and 2) they are on the freakin’ Equator. It’s as simple as that.
Anyway, I doubt it’s a dramatic disappearance.

I call AP “agitation and propaganda”.
They use lies to try to divide and conquer.

More CO2 in the atmosphere is helping formerly barren deserts in Africa grow vegetation. Sounds like a good thing for the impoverished people living in those regions

Oh no! We’re all gonna die! The only way to fix the problem is to throw trillions and trillions of dollars at it because climate change is allergic to money.

Its called “regression to the mean,” in that we are still emerging from the late stages of the last ice age. As a result, glaciers that did not exist before the last ice age, will no longer exist when the climate regresses to the pre-ice age mean.

“Africa’s rare glaciers set to disappear”
Let’s recall that the planet has been warming since 15 000 years ago.
Why do you suppose the glaciers are “rare” in the first place.

Wait 20-30,000 years and they'll form again, when the next ice age is upon us Earth.

If these glaciers are that rare, they were probably caused by global cooling. No, silly ... global warming causes global cooling. Try to keep up.

Looking at images on Google, the snow cap apparently varies quite a bit.
