When my mom had AML, and taking chemo, we all were like we are today- sanitizing and taking our temperature before helping her. Her immune system was so low it could not fight a little cold. Eventually, in the hospital she got a virus that had broken out on her cancer floor which she didn’t survive.
We never totally get over the death of a mother... you’re in my prayers...
